Therapeutic mechanism

• Newborns have high concentrations of maternal estrogen, which peaks at 3 days after birth and returns to normal levels after 6 weeks. An important component of ear cartilage is hyaluronic acid, and its content is affected by maternal estrogen, which in turn affects the plasticity of the ear.

Optimal use time

• In the short window of the after-birth period, auricle morphological deformities can be treated by mechanical correction. Correction is recommended within 3 weeks of birth, usually with an average correction cycle of 4 to 6 weeks.
